WRONG... ... My friend, whose 6. 7 I rebuilt, builds and delivers minibarns all over Southern California. He has another '07 G56 . It had some noise from the clutch, which, altho only having 56K, we figured warranty would be denied, since it sees a lot of hard miles. So we tore it apart, and found this DMF (DisMantled Flywheel ?) . The owner than called the service manager at a certain Dodge dealer (I refuse to embarress them publicly) and was told that "your mechanic doesn't know what he is talking about; your truck doesn't have that kind of a flywheel. It must be the pressure plate you are describing!!!!!!" I laughed soooooooo hard-the joke of a lifetime !!!!!!! :-laf We are ordering a South Bend; hence the post on which clutch would be sold locally. (S Ca. ) Shall we walk up to a salesman with a customer, grease smear on our cheek, grimy hands, cap on crooked, goofy grin on face, and tell him the story of how ignorant ppl are nowadays? I guess that fails the test of the Golden Rule. Talk to ya...

auto transmission

So why did the 6. 7 auto need rebuilt? Was this the c&c or the 68re? The last time I talked to Willie about his trucks he didn't mention anything about transmission problems.

My dad had a cabinet business in Lebanon and did most of Isaac's kitchens. I know Willie and spoke to him the other week about his trucks because I am in the mini barn business and am considering a new truck and was wondering how the aisin auto is holding up.

When my buddy brought this truck to me it had a rattle in the transmission that would quit every time you would depress the clutch. Now that I installed the southbend it still has the same rattle. Any ideas what this is?
