07. 5 was the start of the new 6. 7 engine, the 07's have the 5. 9 engine.

Well someone goofed then cause mine has the 6. 7 with a manufacture date on the door of 01-07.

Jan. 07 on would be 07. 5 model year. All trucks after Jan. 1 have the 6. 7, though I think they were pumping them out before then.

They start making the next model year vehicles I believe in July... thus the '07's with 5. 9's were being made the last part of '06. The 07. 5's with 6. 7's I believe started rolling off the line in January of '07... pretty sure no one goofed with yours.

I don't know about my 07 Dodge diesel

After owning a 96 dodge diesel for the last 11 years, I thought it was time to move ahead... . so I bought a new 07 quadcab 4x4 diesel. Loved it so I thought. With in 150 miles on the odometer, the MIL light came on!! So I called the dealer and they told me that the computer had a "burp" in it (over the phone). Well the light went out, good I thought until it came back on again! So I phoned the dealer again,and they said that there is a recall on it and they order the part and fix the MIL light problem. Fine. Now with the MIL light on the light for the throttle sensor came on!!,and it started to run rough for short periods of time (450 miles). My 96 diesel was awesome, not one problem with it. I wish I did'nt sell it... . Not very impressed... ... . also poor fuel mileage again not too impressed... . I hope some one comes up with some improvements soon!!!

MPG is very weak, low, rotten. I have 5300 miles on the beast. 4900 of them towing #13500 5th wheel, half of trip on interstates. Speeds varied from 75 to 45 MPH. First half of trip 9. 5 last half 11 mpg. Hope things improve.

Truck is FANTESTIC.

E brake and tow haul on all the time.

G30 Flash



I had the G30 flash done about 30 days ago and I can't tell any difference in MPG, Regen, power, nothing. Truck build date was June '07.
