6.7 with a 5.9 head

A dodge mech told me that a 6. 7 block can take a 5. 9 head. The displacement would still be 6. 7 due to the larger displacement and longer stroke. This would get rid of most of the emissions garbage wouldn't it? I'm sure in an 08 the dash would light up like christmas but as a conversion powerplant what do y'all think.

Isn't the emissions stuff all external to the head? Just swap that stuff out (intake horn, exh manifold, etc)



You will have to get around the computer from recoginizing that the emissions sensors aren't working or hooked up. Not sure of the problems you will have...

The emissions stuff I don't think is in the head. It is attached to the engine. I have heard that a 5. 9 head will go on a 6. 7 also.
