Just wanted to let those know, who are waiting, my new truck (Plain Jane Mega cab S L T) is now at the dealer. Do not know why or how they got to Canada first. Truck was ordered about Jan 10 2007.

Good for you! Let us know how awesome it is when you get it.

I ordered about 2 weeks after you and according to DC it is still at the factory.

Good luck with her...

I watch rv.net and tdr every day, looking for any sign of the 6. 7 delivery. Your's is the 1st that I have heard that has gotten this far. Many of them are going into storage while the dealers clear their 5. 9 inventory.

The dealer here in Lexington, KY had at least 10 6. 7's in stock as of last monday. . I think every one of them were 6spd manuals though. They also still have a ton of 5. 9's left there to so I don't know why they have so many 6. 7's

I just test drove a '07 6. 7 68RFE yesterday and was really impressed with how smooth it shifted! Exhaust brake was wonderful as well! Awesome combo!

This is the 1st report from anyone that I have read that has actually seen or driven a 6. 7 with the 68RE. Congrats.

I didn't spend a lot of time using the "manual" gear selection mode. Having said that, on the selector is a "+/-" toggle that lets you quickly downshift or upshift from your current gear and/or put into tow/haul mode.

I left it in full auto mode so I can feel the smoothness of the shift pattern. You can really tell the diff between a 4 speed and a 6 speed as the ratio spacing is my tighter! I have an early '03 with the last of the 47RE so the difference is dramatic! will be ordering soon!

So how does the converter hold when it shifts and you push down on the throttle? Do the RPMs and the speedometer climb at the same rate, or does the tac. go up and the speedometer catch up.
