Thanks for providing the link to this informative tutorial. I was wondering why earlier (pre 2013) models people were reporting DPF problems and higher DEF usage. This explains it with the SCR being used in 2013 and later. It also explains why I'm barely seeing my DEF gauge move in several thousand miles. Thanks again!

Thanks for directing me to the site. I'm new to cummins and all diesels. I'm 5 months into my first diesel, this info explained allot. Trying to learn all I can, every little bit helps. I'm enjoying my new to me 2014 Ram 2500 TCD.
