Forrest, use a 5to6 adapter, then you can use any 6 inch stack style you like, and replace if it gets too pitted. The adapter is out of the spray of the rear tire, so it lasts much longer.

The 5po6 adapter can be had from any truck supply for under $40. Use the chrome clamps, and it'll look nice. No welding necessary.



The truck wasn't the cleanest in this picture, but I think you can get the idea.

Mine are 5" not 6" but they do the job. Take a look at them in my readers rig gallery. Click on the user links at the bottom of the page for pictures. Click on each picture if you want a close up. This is a 4" duel exhaust system that I had Rip Rook build for me. MagnaFlow tips make it look just right.

I'd rather weld something in place... all those clamps and adapters are a little too "busy" looking for my taste... and those 6" stacks ain't cheap...



untill there's a one-piece stainless tip that'll fit my bill, I'll just stick w/ what I've got :D
