This past weekend, I took the injectors out and soaked them in PS Diesel Kleen (1-2mm of carbon build up, thanks to previous owner's lack of supplements). Came out fairly easy, and went back in just fine. Now #6 injector makes a hissing noise at every "fire. " I have loosened and retightened the line about a half doxen times now, and no change. Will this just go away, or do I need to do something? IT is not leaking, at least that I can see, and runs smoother than before. I am trying to sell it, (but not after a 1200 mi trip back to MO) and it wont sell if it is making that noise under the hood.
