Greg the flow rates are very misleading, do to the fact the PSI is NOT rated, couple that with the same Mic ratings, at what PSI?

I doubt those filters are even close to the ratings at application running pressures. ( just like the fuel filters)

When it comes to Lube filtering low volume at low Mic filtration is much better, we are talking only 3 Gallons of lube to filter. IMO

I went in for my complimentary first 6 months oil change at the dealer with 2500 miles on it and they told me it's a year interval or 15000 miles. I"m like you and don't rack up a lot of miles, I have 18000 miles on it since it was new. I change the oil once a year which usually is around the 5000 mile mark and keep all the receipts as per the service manager at the dealership.

No, I have a dealer account with Amsoil and have always found the Donaldson filters cheaper. I usually buy them in sets of 2-4.

My last pair of Donaldson filters was $25.50, or $12.75/ea to my door on Amazon. Preferred Customer pricing on the Amsoil filter is $15.85 plus tax/shipping, so even if I got it without shipping it’s more expensive.

It’s been a while, but I was also buying the Donaldson locally for ~$14.

There is a pair on Amazon right now for $22.84, probably as cheap as I’ve seen the DBL7349.

That's a good price. Is there a difference between that and ELF7340?

HAAAAAAAAA, too funny!
Yep, LOL. Ever see someone who could ARGUE both sides? Just couldn't take it anymore. I'll sleep good tonight.:D

I had always thought the MOPAR was a strata pore. Now it's a NoBueno!!!

I know, I had run Stratapore forever, in fact had last one I put on 2017 5500 at my first oil change. Had the TDR gallery educate me Mopar isn't Stratapore when I started thread Mopar Stratapore on sale at Genos. The rest is history. So that's why i didn't feel bad selling them to the Fram crowd, big improvement for them.

FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK ON THE TOP OF THE HEAP AGAIN.:D

Cheers, Ron

They are wrong, but they are being realistic.

Low volume at low micron...... Good argument for a bypass filter!!!!!!!! And that is partly why they do so much more than the full flow.
