6 speed bummer (NV5600)

This is a '03 3500 HO 6spd srw 4x4 shortbed at 25625 miles trans was hard to shift, went to dealer told them of TSB to fix clutch... they test drove, told me it was the clutch, and TSB did not count as warrenty was only for 12k. Yes, say's I, but what could make a clutch go out with only 25. 6k? Only towed twice with a master tow, from Conn. to Mem. , Tenn. So I need some help as to look for what when they change out old disk for new... (I pay... unless something in trans), so HELP

There really won't be much to look for with a new clutch. MOST IMPORTANT: be sure you specify that the flywheel is to be resurfaced! Failure to do so WILL result in a launch shudder.



Also, tell them you want every old part they remove from your vehicle. Make sure they comply.
