Okay, this may be a dumb question. Is Temp. a concern with the NV5600 transmission? I've never seen anyone talk about monitoring the temp. on anything but an Auto. I got the Quadzilla Commander gauge setup, and it comes with the transmission probe. If it's worth doing, where would I mount it?

Thanks for your help, guys.

Nah, nothing much to worry about unless you want to monitor it for your own knowledge. It's nearly bulletproof. They can fail but very seldom. The main thing to worry about is the clutch and you'll know when that happens.

If you do decide to monitor it:

Highway speeds (empty/loaded) turning 2200RPM, I see a high of 230*F @ 90*F ambient running Redline MTL.

The temp is very dependant on ambient outside air temp... even though the NV5600 doesn't have a cooler to efficiently transfer the heat...
