I am in the process of doing an engine swap and had a question for those of you who have pulled a manual transmission out of these before. Should I unbolt the transmission from the bellhousing first, or remove both together off of the engine plate. Thanks... Andrew

In every rig I've ever done I've removed the bellhousing while still attached to the transmission. I will admit however I've never pulled a NV5600 so they may have a quirk I'm unaware of.

Scott,

I had the same thought. But since I haven't done it in this truck before I put the question out here. Thanks... Andrew

Remove bell housing and Trans at the same time. There are no hidden concerns.
