I'm swapping out my 5-speed for a 6-speed. Dan at Quad4x4 said it's pretty much a straightforward swap except for driveshaft length. The guy I'm getting my flywheel/clutch from said I will need a starter spacer because this is "a true 6-speed" flywheel. Does anyone know whether or not I will actually need a spacer?

Where do I get one of these spacers? The guy I'm buying my clutch from said I could get one from South Bend but I wasn't able to find anything on their website.

What else is there? I ask questions about what it will take and everyone says just the driveshafts, then later all these people mention everything else! I hope my T-case will bolt right up, otherwise that's one more thing I have to try and find. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Still have to do some more calling on the starter shim.

Should be OK on the TC, the problem was with the auto/manual conversions, output from the auto is different then output from the manual( splinecount)
