Are you guys monitoring the transmission temp on the 6 speeds? If so, where do you install the sending unit? I read an article a while back that recommended it if you are towing.
Thanks.

I installed my SPA trans oil temperature sensor in a weld bushing I put in the drivers side PTO cover. It takes a LONG time for the tranmission to warm up. If it sits overnight, the temp will be about 50°-60°, and takes a good hour of driving to bring it up to normal (90°) temperature. On the highway, the temp is about 90°-100° empty, and in city driving it goes up to about 115°. If I am cruising on te highway for an hour or two, then get off and stop, the temp goes up quite a bit. Highest I have has been 120°, which was in heavy city traffic with lots of stop & go. Hope this helps! #ad
