Evan, want to say thanks for the diagram. Now i have another question. The multi function switch is mentioned. Where is it located and what will it look like? would like to get started but don't really have a direction to go yet. i've got the service manual, but i want to make sure that i'm looking at the same thing. thanks for the help guys!!!!

The Multi-Function Switch is located in the steering column. Remove the plastic covers, and it will be under there on the left side. Your wiper, turn signal, and high beam circuits are all controlled through this switch. If you have any more questions, just post them here or shoot me an email. #ad


BTW, I just replaced my series 15 side turn signals with LED units. Major improvement, as the lights now have 8 LED's each, as oppsed to a single incandescent bulb before. #ad

Thanks Evan, that is the one i was thinking of. are the wires pretty easy to get to in the column? Has anyone found a good quality blade type fuse panel with more than 4 fuses other than a painless wiring kit? Looking for something with just the fuse block and i'll supply my own wiring.

Hey Rob. . . no not yet, haven't gotten around to it I am going to look in the steering column and see how it is hooked up, but will probably check with the expert too. I think when I get around to getting it hooked up I'm going to add the switch so I can manually override it, for those dark nights when I'm loading up or undloading. Thanks for the help the other day though I'll let you know if I get 'er figured out.
