2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 60 Gallon Replacment Tank

Has anyone installed a 60 gallon replacement fuel tank on a two wheel drive CTD? Transfer Flow sells one for the 4X4 models but claims they extend too low for the 2 wheel drive trucks. I don't think it would matter if you don't take your truck offroad.

I can hardly afford to fill my tank as it is. I can't imagine having to drop $140+ to fill this beast up.
