Trying to figure out whether to go with a 5" turbo back or a 4" with a cat test pipe exhaust on my 04. 5 6 speed. The truck will probably see a Power Pup or a Power Puck and an AFE cold air in the near future.

I am looking to keep the exhaust note very civil as I live in town and hate noisy exhausts on daily drivers.

Civility is not a trait of the 5" I took mine off because it was way to loud. The drone was murder on the ears. With the stock exhaust (4") and a muffler delete pipe, it's still loud, but sounds decent and doesn't carry over into the cab.

hey captin i use a 5" bully dog turbo back system (it started a cat-back)and with the cat still on it was very civil. it is throaty and free flowing, sounds deep in tone . i started a new thread on "why does 5" pipes "rob" power?"it got alot of sound &techcal responses, take a look. me i really like my 5"---LA ps i never have got any drone

I`ve just installed a new 5" from turbo to muffler, from muffler out it is 4" duals. Very nice sound. Bought for 580. 00, Not bad for duals.

my truck used to run 5'' straight pipe with a single turbo and it was very noisy and had the drone, it was worse with dual 6'' stacks, now i am back to 5'' straight pipe and the truck is actually pretty quiet since i added another turbo to quiet it down, the 5'' would be pretty throaty even with a muffler, not sure how a 4'' sounds with muffler, go with a good muffler and you wont get the drone, but it will sound good too, good luck, ;)

Mark,

I spoke with Kenny today, faxed the applications, etc. and I ( www.s-aenterprises.com ) am one of your new dealers. I may have to do some "product evaluations" in the very near future. I am "test driving" a Power Puck and am pretty happy with the results so far.
