Want to get the shop manuals for my rig but don't want to pay $235 for something that only covers the 555. Are the changes insignificant or have they come out with a supplement to the manaul. Or maybe it would be better to buy an 05 version.

600 manuels

I found shop manuels for my 4. 5 at ebay for $45 dollars. They are used but surprisingly in good condition. Good luck,

Rickrack

I queried DC to see if the latest info was available for the 4. 5 relative to their shop manuals. They said all their info was updated with the latest information so I purchased the CD which was backordered at the time so naturally I figured if its back ordered then it must include the 600. Well, no it didn't so be be careful out there when looking for the 600 info. Also the wiring diagrams are somewhat different for the 4. 5.

As part of my sales deal with my dealership, I was promised a Factory Service Manual at no charge. My salesman told me that he wanted to wait until the updated manual for the 4. 5 came out before ordering it for me. It's been since March and I haven't heard a thing. :-(

I have the updated CD version. On the label it says it includes the SRT10 and diesel; I haven't looked at in detail but it should cover both the 555 and 600s.

The manual No. is 81-370-04059CD

This is the same number as the earlier CD for just up to 2004. 4 model year. As I posted above, it says "includes SRT-10 and Diesel" under the words "RAM TRUCK. "

Thats it most likely. Mine only says Ram Truck but does include the SRT-10 information. The diesel info is definitly not updated on mine.

Well got a CD copy thanks to a nice TDR member. I thought that I would be able to print legible copies of pages that I would like to carry in the truck but when I print, text is blacked out. It looks like target silouets. That sure drains the ol ink cartrage. Is this something others experience. It must be a setting in acrobat.

I downloaded mine off the net for free, acrobat reader. for the 555 i beleive, if you want i could email it to ya.

Tried that before. File was either to big for Yahoo or was to big for the senders email provider. Does your copy print OK??
