The PE box can be programed to give any kind of fueling at any rpm level but usually it "traces" the stock fueling curve. The PE boys told me they have a great deal of respect for the engineers who designed the stock fueling curves. I don't believe redoing the ECM would necessilary help because it still working through the VP44 cpu. If it sends the VP44 too big of a number and the VP44 cpu thinks that number is a zero. Ala, why fueling boxes provide more fuel than timing boxes (PE vs EZ for example).
 
Watching the Dyno video of Sickly, I was very impressed at the speed all that smoke was coming out of that 5"(?) pipe. It looks as if it cleans up right before the Dyno test is done. I think Sickly needs alot more booST #ad

koa man , not trying to start a war , but you 12V guys have it easy to get that kind of power out of the P pump , i will note that all 12V's i've seen that are turned up have been belching #ad

The comment bout two P7100 pumps isn't far off. I saw a pic once of b series engine with a pump from a 12 valve diesel-it was just a long P7100 pump. Now only if we can develop a dual injection system possibly using only one injector? Two would take losts of money to develop.
 
Yes, I think that is the one. Do you think someone out there would be willing to try and come up with a waay to make this pump work on our engines?
 
Steve,I have the 93% fueling with a 75% duration cycle. Fueling limit is set at 3000. It helps a little but for what ever reason my old Blue Box still made more power. (Not much but a little. )What I didn,t like about it was how slow the fuel started. That hurt my truck,s performance on the street. The Power max,s fueling is instantaneous on level 9. Thats perfect for a heavy truck with a stick. I had my rpm,s raised to 3200 in my ecm and Will get Mark to raise the Power max to the same level. That should help me get the extra air needed to hit 600. Lets not forget about my super shower heads,HX-55 twin turbo system,and 5" dual exh. I,ve been very busy the last few weeks.

I'm not an Audi fan so I don't know too much
about them. I think they are no longer in production since Audi went the Common Rail way.

The VP-44 pump was (or is) used in the Audi A-4 and A-6 2. 5L turbo diesel.

i'm the one whining about smoke , i live in one of those enviro-nazi, yuppie breeding places and don't need the hassle . but then again the smoke is behind me for the yuppies to breathe . #ad


jetson , yes i have noticed lately how much MORE i enjoy the smell of #2 , i now recycle my old magictree air fresheners by soaking them in #2 #ad

00 , now thats a pump , but we'd have to remove our intake manifolds to get it on the little 5. 9 .
