Is there a problem...

How long did your STOCK turbo last with TST/EDGE setup?

Flywheel size is probably more a function of the vehicle manufacturer's desired transmissions. The F650/750 is using class 6-7-8 transmissions, not things like the Torqshift or ZF used in the F250-550 or the NV5600 and 47/48RE used with Cummins Dodges.

Gotta be more to it then type of trans. The old one cyl. fire every 8 beats etc. used in industerial applications, some of then had huge flywheels for the inertia(torque)to keep what is powering moving if I make any sense. Slower to rev but much harder to stall.

Allison is the best on the market, have to try for yourself. Chip it and forget it. 500 hp 1st thru 5th, touch and go on the pedal. Litetraly.

You can put the Allison in limp mode with just propane or a 90 hp Juice if you really lay hard into it under load. It like to slip in fifth.

I limped mine with just propane.

Allison is a great transmission but suprisingly weak in the torque slippage department.
