610 or 600flbs in 05

I've looked at a few 05 some have the (r) 600 and other have 610 ft lbs. on the stickers, whats the deal. Is there are cut off date or does all 05's have the 610 ft lbs. motors?????????

05's are 610 at least what I am reading here and in other publishings. They beacme 610's after GM listed their DMAX Diesel at 605. I want to say the 05 Rams built after June or July (not sure ) became 610's. But if you were to order a truck today it would be a 610"s.



05 3500 4X4 laramie DRW 325/610 6 spd 4:10's built Sept 04 came in on 10/30/04

Sold 99 3500 4X4 DRW ATS transw/ VB,TC,Comander edge,AFE Auto Meter and a 53 block :{ that why shes gone.

I ordered mine in mid august, took delivery in mid september, sticker said 600. Mine also fell in the engine build date and serial # for TSB 18-037-04.



I had the flash - Am I now a 610?? Did all '04. 5's and early '05's have 610 all along, but did DC decide it was just an advertising ploy to remain at the top of the torque heap..... or were there some changes made to the 610?

Who knows? Mine came with a sticker that said 610, but it was eligable for the 18-037-04 as well.
