S-10 or Ranger??

Engine Swap in 91 W250

4bt to GM trans

I hope you guys have a since of humor? I'm not trying to be a smart a--. BUT

When asking information on this subject I feel that I'm talking to my wife, not knowing if she's has any clue what I'm talking about.

Does anyone reading this have anything that I can use to bolt a 4bt to a Chev Trans. /adapter/flexplate/starter for Cummins to Chev.

Thanks:)

To get the correct part number you have to know application that the engine came out of to get the correct parts catalog? What this means is find someone with the engine that has the correct application that your want, ie, has a chevy auto trans, and get the engine serno from that engine. With that serno you can get the part you want. There is no other way to find the part(s) number you need. Other than that you must go to your local Cummins Dealer and ask to look through all of their 4BT engine Catalog's and look at the application and hope you have picked the correct part.

Sorry but that's the way it is.

Now you know why the people that do repowers guard there part number so closely. It takes a bit of research to come up with the right parts(numbers!) to fit an engine together.
