i agree..... do some research befor spending 6000. i researched for 6 months befor i decided to go with my GOEREND an i love it...

I have a Goerend, also. I think it's probably the best transmission out there. It definitely has the best warranty.

I think the GV folks are getting some younger personnel to deal with on the phone. I have used them for a long time and the only thing I have been told is not to be in OD when gearing down as the reverse action is bad on the clutches. I was told I could not overpower it and not to worry. I have had issues, well past warranty, and am pleased with their support.

BTW, I constantly tow 14k+ in OD.
