Nice truck and very nice hp and tq numbers. Very COOL! Be careful that Bully Dog program is racking up failed tranys and stuck pistons (#6). Very cool program! So whats next? Later

Thanks Brett. Im not worried about the transmission I just hope everything else handles it. The truck has a HARD 7,500 miles on it since I got the transmission and the Bully Dog program a little over a month ago and it hasn't let me down yet. I'll give it Hell till it blows I guess :D

Whats next?

I don't really know. I know I need a cp3 so that will be next. After that it will just be one thing at a time as money allows. My goal when I first talked to my transmission guy was to get into the 12's and then I was done. I guess its 11's now;)

HTS has over 10,000 miles on their truck with the bully dog program + torque dog and their transmission running 13. 01.

13 flat with 3 mods isn't to shabby. And if it works run it. The transmission they have in that truck isn't even a full billet... . stock injectors, stock cp3, stock turbo even...

So how many trucks have lost piston #6?

I wouldn't trade the bully dog/tst for anything. Personally if I was losing transmission's I would look elsewhere. I've had numerous 40+ psi launchs because the turbo lit and she still drives like a champ. Anyone that knows me can tell you I beat the living crap out of my truck everyday.

Those are some awesome numbers. What kind of dyno are you guys running on? I have found a Npower shop with a 1000hp chassis dyno that said they will let me run my truck, but I have heard that even with the tandems locked out I might not get a good enough load on the twins to get a true reading. And I know a Dynojet or Mustang will not get me readings worth the paper they are printed on.

It is a dyno dynamics load dyno, you can load it up enough to spool those twins.

Dyno Dynamics should give out pretty good numbers.

I think you can search on their website and find shops that have their dyno's.

From what I have gathered (dynoing on 3 different kinds of dynos).

The most generous Dyno was the Dyno Dynamics (with an auto transmission), next was the Dynojet, then the Mustang Dyno.

At the time the Dyno Dynamics gave me 39hp over the DynoJet with no changes to the vehicle (went from 462hp/951 ft lbs to 501hp/1080ft lbs)

Did you notice your boost numbers on each? The way I undestand it, if you want true HP #'s you need to achieve the same boost on the dyno as you do on the street. Only a load dyno will let you get high boost numbers that you get on the street therefore its a more accurate reading of what you actually see driving.

I agree - Seems sometime you can "flash" and dynojet or mustang and make a number that is not true reflection of HP...

Some people have gotten on Johns dyno and complained because they made less HP - They called it the "heartbreaker" for a while :-laf

I noticed much higher boost on DynoDynamics dynos...

Tom,

Boost I dont know. I didnt drive them on either one at the time.

But I did notice that setting the lockup of the torque converter early loaded the engine early and got it going by the time OD hit which I think helped it spike higher.

I dont know if the same could be done with a manual the exact same way.

I think they consider it a failed run if OD kicks in -- for the reason you mentioned. An invalid spike. I think that's how it was at John's dyno Saturday -- if OD kicked in the results were discarded.

That spike on the graph looks real good though... ... :-laf

I guess I can go get on a mustang or dynojet and get a lower reading to show me how much of a dog my truck is  LOL If they read 58 HP lower Ill be fine. As long as I still break the 600 mark :D

The 1534 tq number was before it shifted to OD and spiked. John said the 1534 was a true reading.

That some sweet numbers im havin same problems with finding my rwtq :{ seem to me that the truck makes power mid range in the rpms. would be sweet to have my truck and lukes side by side. whos know may learn a thing or two to why the trucks have no low end tq and spikes
