It looks like I just puked a second VP. Im starting to get a loss of power under hard acceration. Ill check the LP tomarrow but I have the dreaded 216 code and am perty sure its the VP . I have also noticed over the last couple tanks a noticable surging at around 18/1900 rpm and was hoping it was just the TPS. No such luck. Once the power started kicking out i checked the codes and saw the 216. This VP only lasted 21K. It was a reman. I think I might try a hot rod pump next time. Or maybe just sell the truck and get an 06. They have a better fuel delivery system. I have been monitoring the GEN 111 site for a fer years and hav'nt noticed any fuel pump failures at all.
