Have all my fluid and both filters and plan on servicing my 2011 68RFE next week. Would appreciate someone who has performed this service to verify what is required for securing the sump filter in place. Have read other threads about a T-25 Torex drive being required for the fastener? Don't own a Torex drive set and would like to only purchase the correct one vice an entire set. Thanks.

Yes, it is definitely a Torx drive screw that retains the filter. I believe it is a T-25 drive size, but I cannot confirm that at the moment (I don't have access to the drawing for that screw). Most hardware stores should carry Torx bits that will go into a standard bit driver handle (for like $1.00 each), so picking up a couple different sizes shouldn't be too expensive. But I do think T-25 is what you'll need.

I found the screw a bit tight for just a screw driver had to use a 1/4" drive socket drive. I'm sure the dealer was a gorilla as the spin on filter was crushed by what looked like channel locks.
