I am looking at goin 6inches closer to the sky. I think i have narrowed my choices between RevTek and Superlift. I would appreciate any comments are suggestions 6in lift. Also is the double shock in the front improve the ride? I am not interested in Tuff Country heard too many negative things about it. Any comments on ride, problems encountered, recommendations would be appreciated. Thanx

I can't really help, but the dual shocks in the front will stiffen the ride. Some people call that better, I don't. I'm different.

What did you hear about Tuff Country?

i read some negative comments on a thread a few weeks ago dont remeber exactly what was said maybe economial lift and some other things. they might be good considering they are pretty simple lifts since we still have a STRAIGHT AXLE TRUCKOo. , but i normally go for the higher quality brands. I really have had some good dealings with superlift in the past not to mention there a LOUISIANA company. Thanx for the info on double shock like the looks but dont need a rougher ride thats for sure.

thanks guys

I have definitely herad negative comments about Rough Country, but from what I have heard, Tuff Country lifts aren't that bad at all, so long as it is their front spring replacement lift vs. their spacer lifts. If you are choosing between Superlift and Revtek, I would go for Revtek. I've seen a few of their products and they are top quality. They are also a small, family owned company that I am told provides excellent service. Saw an '07 yesterday with a fresh Superlift 6" and wasn't at all impressed with their sway bar relocation (lengthened links) and I spoke with the installer who said they have had a problem with the front srings settling to around 4. 5" after a year or so.

Thanx nuke you just made up my mind RevTek it will be i will report back in a few monthes on my likes and dislikes of this lift

I just got finished installing a 6'' superlift on my 03. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet though, I'm still waiting on tires and wheels. I'll post once I get it up and running.

superlift springs suck. they sag at least an inch really quickly. i got my kit from top gun customz. it uses tough country parts but top gun springs. i think the springs are like lifetime guarrented to not sag. ive installed alot of kits and this thing just fell together no problems very happy so far.

I second topguncustomz! I would piece a lift together through them! Use their springs and buy the rock crawler long arms!

I am in the process of upgrading my tough country lift on the 02' after two bent control arms and four blown shocks! Just remember... You get what you pay for!

I too have experienced this and will not receive any reimbursement from superlift because according to the tech, the springs are actually longer than they are suppose to be to makeup for the sagging that is expected. He claims they are about 1" or better longer and after some time will sag, but no more than approximately 1" to maintain the 6" lift. I don't have the measurements I sent him in front of me, but according to the tech, both are still within factory specs.

So, I called topgun and inquired about their springs. Their springs are lifetime warranted (just like superlift). However, he could not say if his springs were any better than SL, only that, they are guaranteed not to sag any. I ended up ordering the dual shock kit and two more bilsteins to firm up the front end. After calling around, I don't believe anyone can beat their prices. At some later point, I'll be ordering their adjustable control arms. If anyone is interested, the guy's name is Jeff. He was very helpful and informative. Also, if you order now, shipping is free!
