Just did mine with a kit from Quad 4X4, just like having a new truck. Their kit is very complete and the NV5600 is a treat to drive. I get to take my first trip without the worry of losing 5th gear, this time it went out in time for me to do something about it. Oo. Oo. Oo.

About how much time and money did you have in the process? Did you convert from a 5spd to a 6 or from an auto?

The Kit with a SB clutch was about $4800 bucks. Driveshafts ran right at $200. I had a five, sometimes four speed in it before. That's for a brand new transmission, they've stopped production so the new ones are gonna get scarce.
