Wondered if anybody had charted mph/rpm data for the 6speed with 3. 73 rear end. Don,t like the idea of writing and driving at the same time. Thanks

Ban speed limiters!

Never had it up to 108 on mine... yet. Do the Edge and other boxes disable the speed limiter? I remember reading about a box for a Ford and one of the good features was that it pumped up the volume:

"Oh, your 95/100 MPH speed limiter is toast too! We set it around 140MPH!"

I agree, the chart rocks! It also gives us a great illustration as to the minimal difference between the standard and auto gear ratios in the upper end: . 73, . 75, and . 69.

what do you mean by the upper end? Engine RPM in 6th gear is always 5. 8 percent higher than in overdrive, no matter what the speed. maybe thats what you mean -- the difference is only 5. 8% for the top highway gears. thats about 100 rpm at 2000.
