i hear that the superduty i/c's are a great upgrade for the i/c trucks and bought one for my 90, and curious how people fit and plumb them. i know i will have to take my grill out and iam prepared to do any trimming nessasry. just wanting to see how other peole have done them. will be running a he351cw. o, and pics are always awesome

haven't installed superduty CAC and new he351 yet (have to put motor back together first) but what kind of egt reduction are people seeing going from non i/c to adding a superduty cooler? i'm hoping that going from hx35 to he351 and adding a CAC will reduce egt's enough to be lower than stock even with the new 5x. 012's (aprox. 90hp) going in

Im not shure , id think you will gain more by haveing bbigger exhaust and haveing the engine breath better , my 92 after the pump backed off (loose Bolts ) the temp would craw some now with the exhaust un corked it stopped

My intake temps on my '91, loaded and getting up to speed(5 spd, 3. 54, CC w/flatbed), went from 210-320*F depending on weather, to 100-140*F, using a stock intercooler off a '92. Boost went up 4-5psi and fuel mileage went up 2-3mpg. EGTs went down @ 2-300*F at highway speeds loaded. Didn't make much difference unloaded cruising. I burned up the transmission pretty quick after the fueling mods... .
