727 4x4 trans. questions

1. for my cummins conversion im useing the 727 trans. from the donor truck. i changed over the tailhouseing to the 4wd from the original trans. but the trans mainshaft is threaded from the drive shaft yoke bolting on, are the cummins 4x4 mainshaft threaded on the end as well? the 205 coupler fits over it but i want full spline engagement if poss.

2. i am going to rebuild the trans. i am looking at useing parts from patc. from new york. i no they do damn good for gasser transmissions just unsure about diesels. has anyone used there parts before or knows of 727 specialist? i no ats, dtt. etc. do good on the 47 re and rh.
