Does the Kenworth bracket for alt/A/C work?

grid heater in my chevy conversion?

I've heard that 86 and up Chevys have factory hydraulic clutches, am I right? I'm planning to put a Cummins from my 92 W250 that has an AA conversion nv4500 in it into a 90 Chevy crew cab. Will the stock Chevy master cylinder move the dodge slave cyl adequately, or should I go with something else? The Chevy is currently an auto, so I have to buy everything anyway. Thanks

Yes Chevys from 86 to 91 in that body style have the clutch pedals and set up you want . beshure to buy the peice for unter the dash ,i didnt but luckily i had a 73 one i made work with some grinder work.

It works fine it might not with the South bend clutches that some like

paying for not me , i guess im too cheap , or poor ??????? when it cost more than a class 8 truck clutch i think its stupid my self .

Ive talked to one guy whom is useing a 88 to 94 ford hydraulic master cyl.

but also in pics ive seen 97 dodge on has a same bolt design as the GMs

look at NAPA Auto Parts for pics then for the fitting to fit

the dodge slave both Novak and Advance Adapters sell the fitting there both listed under the jeep section , I had a hose made a hydraulic shop to fit but theres would be easier i think

I am also using the GM master cyl and Dodge slave cyl. I carefully cut the hose off of the GM and Dodge hydraulic lines and had a hose crimped on the GM line and the Dodge slave nipple.

Thanks guys. I'm looking at 2 trucks right now, one is srw, one dually, both 4x4 crew cab auto. I'll probably have less into the conversion than buying a clean firstgen, even if I can't sell any of the leftover pieces.

The 86-91 straight axle gm trucks do have hyd clutch, the pedals work fine as well as the stock master with the dodge slave and stock clutch but the stock gm master doesn't have enough bore to push a SBC 13 1. 25 clutch,so I use a ford 86-92 f250-350 they have the same line fitting . I bought a box of fittings and have my hyd shop make a new line . I also make a adjustable clutch pedal rod to ford master so you can adjust the pedal when needed.

I'm bout to fire up my 85 chevy crew cab conversion that has an RTO 6610 roadranger transmission in it and I went to the big rig salvage yard and got a slave cylinder off of a medium duty volvo truck. It's bigger than the factory chevy but not so big that it won't fit.

Let us know how the Roadranger is! Also, did you use the kenworth bracket for the A/C and alt or did you go w/ something else?

Why not use the mechanical clutch linkage with a road ranger
