When I was in high school I drove our old Vista Cruiser, with a 455 Rocket. That was too much car to give a snot-nosed teenager. I still have it. Anyway, we had basketball practice one Saturday morning. That morning, one of my buds got there the same time as I did. The parking lot was shiny packed snow. All the plows had done was scrape what was on top. So it was super slick. Where I wanted to park I had to make a 90 degree turn, and then turn right into my parking space. The lines were not visible, but I saw my spot, next to my buddy's 280 Z. I made the first right and half way thru, I hit the gas a little. The rear swung around pretty-as-you-please, and I just held the slide and put it right into the spot. So after, we all pile in to go to the 7-11. On the way back, I thought I'd show off and do the same thing. Well, being the poor high school student, I had bald tires on the front. I hit the gas too early, and turned too sharp. Plus the extra weight in the car with all the guys in it, the posi-traction hooked up, the front tires broke loose, and I piled it right into a huge snow pile, Which was on the opposite side of the parking lot, behind my target. My friend's Dad, who lived across the street from me, had a 4x4 Ford. He came and pulled us out. It was better than the alternative. My Dad had a 77 Suburban, but I sure as he!! wasn't going to tell him what happened!!! LOL

P. S. ) I got plenty more Vista Cruiser stories where that came from!!
