I have heard and seen good numbers with 3rd Gens but c'mon. 780hp 1800 ft. lb, no way, I have seen 613, 615, 709 (hp) with 3rd Gens but no such thing of 1800ft lbs. The truck with 613 was just over 1000ft lb. This truck was Impressive. I dont know if wizards like Enterprise, Piers, etc. could even pump out this power and keep the truck Reliable and use it every day, this guy would have to everything inside and out If these numbers are true though I want a complete parts list so i can make my truck do the same HA HA HA

Sorry L Mills, I was too lazy to look for the real numbers, I talked to u aliitle @ Fall Brawl, How is the business coming along, wont be long and I will need to spend some money. Would you recommend the fuel system you have over FASS or RASP, is it pretty much trouble free. If so maybe I will buy one

No problem, I was just poking fun. :D Mine is just a thrown together system that works good enough. :D I am not going to knock the fass or rasp. I think they are both good, but more than I was willing to spend If I had to pick between the two, it would be the rasp system. However I chose to retain the stock in tank pump for daily driving and ran the secondary system for playing

So, I guess that means I have 395 Hp with no box or boost fooler, because I have 150hp sticks, right?

Heck, I musta had 450hp when the VA was on:rolleyes:

370's :D + 215 hp= 585 to the wheels of course :-laf

true, i have seen 1079 at only 480 h. p.

yeh, the dyno was having issues with twin turboed trucks. It has a hard time spooling the twins properly. I was only seeing 40 psi on the dyno, but while doing road testing with the SP diesel guys we were seeing the gauge bounce off 60 psi that day. I think there was more torque there than what was shown, but I was happy non the less.

Hey Michael, were you the one at the diesel drags this past weekend?

huh, I spoke to the guys at Antrim and they said there was a black 05 there running twins and stacked boxes. Supposedly the owner knows of me???? I thought maybe it was you. :D

Horsepower!!!!

:D O. K. Gents.

I see you are getting crazy numbers out of your CTD with certain mods. I have dumped many dollars into my rig and never had it dynoed. I feel as though I could be competitive if I so choose. But REALLY, does your dyno tell you how your truck is set up to WORK? Do any of you REALLY work your trucks, or do you sit around talking about horsepower and torque ratings? Who Really Gives A. S. ? To me, what really matters is how much power you can produce, and USE DAILY! I have a 2005 w/ 46,000 miles on it and it will be a year old on December 3rd 2005. I can, and will say that the Cummins has impressed me since I have owned it. ( I have had Ford and Chevy Diesels) And much more since I have made the mods. Your trucks will deliver astounding numbers. There is no need to practice one up mans ship. The 780HP/1800TQ is all relative! Who cares. I will see you on the black top. Show me how your RAM works. Thats all that should matter.

Red Bear,

A dyno can do alot.

You can tune those twins on your truck to deliver max performance with the help of a dyno.

Rather than just bolting on mods and saying "well its working" :-laf :-laf

That reminds of the commercial with the grandfather telling his grandson "if it burns its working" (referring to aftershave).

Do you know where the TST runs best at without the dyno?

Have you hooked it to a sled yet? since your not afraid to "work" your truck you should have no problems hooking it up to the sled :)

Well, when I am hooked to the trailer the next time I will snap a photo to let all you doubters see the abuse my truck sees. You all crack me up if you think I dial my truck back for towing and daily driving. I gross around 18K and tow on my 550 HP setting. Any TDR member that has road with me can verify. I am brutal on this truck. If you need names and contacts PM me, I will gladly give them to you. MY truck aint some dyno queen like some of you.

I guess I was trying to touch a nerve. It worked. I have found while empty I have the TST box set on 2/3. Any higher and it seems to over fuel. EGT's spike and you just don't feel the snap. While towing I use it on 1/1 or 2/2 depending upon the grade I am going up. You are right about the sled. Iwould love to hook up to one and test the horse out!

Man I wish I had some money so I could turn this truck up, the aniexty is getting to me, you will be one of the first to know lmills when I have twins, stacked chips, fuel pump upgrade, intercooler, injectors, head gasket and studs, OK OK OK, Im ok, I got it all out know, sorry for you guys to hear about my thin wallet ha ha ha

So your saying that with a set of Shied twins and 80 HP sticks and a cam with the TST on 3/3 your egt's are high and HP starts to go the other way?

I would either dump the sticks for a smaller set of EDM's or graduate to a bigger set of lungs.

I would say you are right..... I have no problem towing on level 6 with the crazy larry tune installed.
