7mm to 9mm injector swap ?

Does anyone know if you can swap 7mm injectors with 9mm injectors from non intercooled engine. if so is there any benefit from it

I tried to take the injectors out our parts truck. It is a 1990. They were to big to stick into my 1993. It sure was a nice try.

FWIW, the diameter is that of the nozzle tip. A 9mm nozzle will definitely NOT fit a head that is designed for 7mm nozzles. You can put a 7mm nozzle in a head that was made for 9mm, but I don't think that was the question.
