Was it as tight as it looked getting into the drivers seat?

Yeah it is tight getting in the seat because of the way the body was built over the engine you have to step on the engine box to get in the driver seat

The test stand run, is that much serp belt tensioner slap normal? I just did an alternator R&R on my VW 1.9L TDI and the alernator decoupler pulley was a factor on that belt slap.

How did it run on the highway?

The belt slap was not normal, we had the wrong alt. pulley on it and the belt was not in proper lineament, but we fixed it before putting it in the bus. I was told that they like how it drives and handles, but because of its low rear gears it has a top speed of 50mph. but they dont really care since the highest speed limit on the battle field is 35 mph

Thank you, quick update they finished putting in the seats and audio system and it will be going out for its first tour Monday the 22nd

So with the winter down time, they got it off to the body shop for touch up work and fresh coat of paint, just needs to be relettered now
