8.4 Screen protectors

Hey gang,

Has anyone found a source for screen protectors? I looked on Amazon and the had one for a 1500, are they the same?

They are the same radio in all of the trim levels and 1/2 ton, 1 ton etc. as long as it's the 8.4, it's the same screen

Never thought of a screen protector, that's a great idea!

I purchased a screen protector at Best Buy which was larger than what I required. Trimmed it to the correct size and placed it on my display. Works absolutely great and I know it is doing its job. Most good quality screen protectors are self healing if in case they get a scratch. One thing is for sure, it will not be my display.

So, Mike do you have one of the 15's with 850 that another thread said they could be reflashed to 865? Snoking

Mine is 850 (assume talkng about torque). Have not heard of the re-flash but have to take in for some routine service and I will have to ask. Pull 5th wheel in summer so like the HP and torque this has. Good luck with the screen protector. I do not worry about mine getting abused any more.
