Ok, i have solved my fuel problems, mounted one of Brandon's 55 gallon drums on the roof, drilled and tapped the vp44 for some 3" sewer line. I got a honda powered pump mounted where the back seat used to be. I now have 300psi at wide open throttle. The best part is it looks pretty killer with the stainless turbo wing mounted on the barrel. Seriously, though, chris put me down for a set. PHil

J Berger--these fittings are for upgraded lines, 5 total per truck if you keep the stock filter and stock lift pump. You could, but I don't know why one would, connect into the steel line on the frame where it turns into the quick disconnect line to the pump and just run -8 upgraded lines from there. It would be better to run a 1/2" pickup in the tank and run -8 all the way. I think the 2001. 5 and maybe the 2001 trucks have a 7/16" pickup tube, but previous years had the 3/8" pickup tube and I would recommend changeing out the 3/8" pickup to the 1/2". We may put kits together if the demand is there--pickup tube assembly, prefilter, pump and lines... or any combination... ... . chris

sounds good

Thanks, Chris. Let me know about a kit if you decide to go that way. Where is the best place to get the upgraded fuel lines? If there is a post that already has that information, just point me to that if you can. TIA
