What will be the performance of this grind. Low end torque, more power on the top side of rpms, can someone give me an idea of how this profile works ?

So I found my truck to be sluggish on the bottom and and lacking of power on the top end. I decided to compare the #8 plate to a home-ground #10 I had. The result was I ground the #8 to a #100 plate, now I've got both low end power and top end. I moved the plate all the way forward toward the radiator when it was installed. Very happy with the results. I have the star wheel adjusted so I get a little puff of smoke upon initial acceleration. AFC housing is in the position closest to the firewall of the truck. EGT's with this setup, running empty with the pedal floored go to 1200 degrees.

I was planning to do the same thing. Have you had a chance to check the egts while towing yet? Just curious.

No I haven't towed with it yet. But the most I tow at this point is a 6x12 trailer with a Polaris Razor 800 on it. If I find EGT's get to high under load I will just slide the plate back toward the firewall some. I had ordered the # 8 plate from TST, when you get their kit it includes a boost elbow set at 32psi. With the ground #100 plate and the boost elbow the truck runs fantastic. It actually seems smoother if that makes sense with plenty of power from idle right thru the top end.
