I have a #8 tst plate i plan on installing this weekend. My question is should I install it in the stock position using the plastic jig that came with it, or would I get more power by sliding it ahead slightly? I am looking for low rpm power (brute torque). in other words I love to lay a nice long patch of rubber but I dont need to go 100 miles per hour. see my sig for specs on the truck.

Welcome aboard!

My parents have a place in Albion!!!

I'd put it in the middle until you see what it does the EGT's.

If theyre acceptable, slide forward slightly.

It's better to trade it in for a hotter plate instead of sliding it. Low end fueling, before full boost, is controlled by the afc. Loosen the star wheel or get the TST afc kit.

Thanks alot for the info guys, I will install it in the stock position for now. The TDR is great and it's members are so helpfull.
