#8 TST and Smoke

I have a #8 TST plate and when I get to about 75 mph and give it some more throttle it smokes. If I do it at 70 mph it doesn't smoke unless I push it wide open. Is this normal? Can I adjust the AFC to correct this?

I also have the #8 and that seems pretty normal to me. You can adjust the AFC star wheel for more or less smoke... . very easy to do. I like the smoke when I push it to WOT.

same here mine gives off a little noticable smoke at 70 -75 when I really pour the coals to her but seems normal and is never too dark as to seem like too much,what kind of boost reading you get when you notice the smoke?is it launching hard?like the power?

Mine has a #5 plate. It smokes like a forest fire when I stand on it. Kills mosquitos and hides tailgaters!
