Ask if they changed the clutch from the dual mass one used on the 600 ftlb engines. Or is the high output engine only available with the auto.

I think the new HO engine requires the automatic. The G-56 and dmf were not even rated for 350/650.

That's why I asked I've got an 05 Love the G56 transmission hated the clutch

He said that HO is only available with a 3500 DRW and auto, right now. I will try to find more info later today.

HO engine is $500... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... retail, I will get invoice pricing thur. Just priced out a crew, DRW, HO, Longhorn. retail $58945, invoice $53760, automatic rebate of $1500 and $1000. I am also getting $500 for farm, am they are checking for $500 for military, also have a card from dodge for extra $500 over and above anything I can deal. That would be $9185 off retail. I will work on hold back $$ fri. He said spray in bed liner not an option right now on this truck. Maybe rebates will be higher by the time it comes in..... LOLOo.

You know, if you guys can find a dealer with a fleet account, or if he knows someone that has one, that's the best way to go. I ordered my truck Feb. 19, 2010 and received it the 2nd week in April. And none of the dealers could come close to the price that I paid. Mind you, I am technically the 2nd onwer on title, 1st owner is the fleet co. , but to save $12,000 from list it was worth it! My local dealer still services the truck, with no hard feelings "at all", I guess he's hoping I'll give him another chance in a couple of years, or sooner. At that time Ram was only offering a total of $3000 in discounts.

I ordered a Longhorn on 20 Jan and have been wondering which engine I will be getting. After some calls to my dealer and his calls to his Rep I was told that Ram has been putting the HO engines in for several weeks now but couldn't guarantee mine will be an HO. Has anyone else heard anything like this
