8000 mile trip

Well we are back home in Boulder City NV after 3 months on the road. I gotta say this truck is great. We had a wonderful time and really got to tour alot of places. We were in Yellowstone on the 11th of Sept. and it put a somber tone on things. It's a great country and will go on. I didn't have one problem with the rig and totally enjoyed the trip. If you are ever in the area of Ennis Montana stop at the Crazy Lady Out Post it is a great RV Park clean and fun. The Madison River is really fun to fish and really beautiful. Well got to find a job till next year.

We need to hear more reports about trips like that. Sometimes we get so wrapped up with the truck that we forget what we bought it for.

Stayed at the Crazy Lady Outpost ourselves in July. Ditto, it's a great place. But avoid the Grizzly Bar since it became Californicated. Way overpriced and snotty waiters to boot. For revenge, my buddy had a waiter describe every bottle on the wine list before ordering a pitcher of Bud.



Fishing on the Madison is nothing like it used to be since whirling disease got into the system. Still lots of browns, but the only rainbows left are a few huge ones. But even on bad days, fly fishing that stretch of the Madison is better than almost anywhere else.
