I did this last night with 9998 miles on the clock. :{ It didn't kill the elk but I bet it has a very sore rump. Going to body shop in a bit, will be interesting to see how much it is going to cost. Thank goodness for insurance.

Sorry to hear about you accident, well at least know one was hurt other than the Elk!

I was on a major highway on the weekend and up ahead across the median was a big cloud of smoke and out of it came a 18 wheeler. He had just locked up to avoid two horses on the lam. Fortunately the police and conservation people where there to attempt re capture of the animals.

Hey, take off the passenger side wiper arm and blade assembly and send it to me. I hit a turkey Friday and it flattened mine out. The windshield got about a three inch scratch from the arm when it bent over. Really torqued me and the turkey, too.

Just got back from shop, looks like it did more than what's on the surface, bumper is damaged from behind, also looks like intercooler is leaking. That could be a good thing though cause I was wanting a new intercooler with the metal ends anyway. Total if nothing else shows up is about $3600.

About all I harvested on the NY run last weekend was a bat. Looked pretty cool, spread out pretty nicely, but I didn't get him centered up as well as I'd have liked.



Glad everyone's okay. Bummer on the damage, but it sounds like you've got a little bit of a silver lining on the IC.
