:-laf :-laf I'm easily distracted by shiny objects. :D I think that I like the hunt for a new car and the build up better than actually driving them. I no longer have an accurate count but by my estimate I'm fast approaching 50 vehicles that I've owned over the last 20 years.

I have similar problems with my wife. Why do you think I need to sell the crew?? Need to make some space for the next one [offroad rockcrawling toy this time :D ]

Anyway... . I already have two fish on the line... errrr... potential buyers ;) I hope to see the crew go to a good 1st genner home.

Well if you looked up compulsive auto builder's disorder in the dictonary then you'd see me. :D At 34 I'm pushing over 65 semi built to never finished and even a couple of thank God that one's finished so I can start on these 3 :-laf. Heck I build stuff just to build it. I completely know what your talking about. I've got soo many irons in the fire that I'm gonna have to start another fire. But a guy can NEVER have too many vehicles! Good luck with the sale.

Donald-

I recently sold my lifted XJ Cherokee on E-bay. I used a company called DAC (Dependable Auto Carriers). They sucessfully shipped it from Colorado to Tennessee. I was a little concerned because the Jeep was 7' tall and riding on 35" tires and they have a 7' height limit. The buyer paid ~$600 for the transport. Absolutely NO spare parts were allowed to be sent with the vehicle, which was a bummer. I dropped it off at a towing company in Denver that DAC uses as a shipping agent, and the buyer picked it up at a similar terminal close to his house. They also offered door to door shipping, but that was spendy. I'd never shipped a vehicle before so I was a bit nervous, but it all worked out well.

:D :D Hahahaha, that's great. There should be a support group for people like us. Wait... . I think that we may already be here! :-laf

Jeff,

Thanks for the tip on the shipper. The WI buyer has reconsidered, and the other person is more local so I may not need the shipping after all, but I will keep the info in case. I haven't measured but I'm thinking that the truck is over 7' tall and well over 20' long. I figure that the size is going to be a deal breaker on shipping.

Well, I'm sad to be letting it go. . :{ but it is cool to see that you seem excited to get it. Now you need to go introduce yourself to the 1st gen board. :D Lots of good guys in there that will be happy to help you out with the few things that still need finishing up.
