2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 9 years and 228,000 miles, happy birthday to ole blue!!

my 94 was born on 05-03-94 and i took delivery on 05-12-94.

this truck has done everything from hauling manure to groceries,plowing snow and pulling my 5er.

transmission has never been out of the truck and is still going strong,,yea, i'm knocking on wood

i believe this one has definately paid for it self and hoping there are many more miles left in her.

hope the '01 makes it this far

I know how you feel. My 97 had 9 miles showing when I got it, has about 182k on it now. It got stolen last month, but I got it back, can't wait to get it out of the shop. I think as time marches on, these old 12v's will be like gold. When you think about it, Dodge/Cummins trucks have achieved about the same level of cult status in the last 15 years, as Harlyey Davidson did in it's first 50 years.

hey donny i think you need to start modifying the properly valved truck and leave the 01 alone for a while, or help me on mine. i may be tackling a headgasket soon if you are interested, maybe i should start rubbing mine down with a diaper also to keep it looking that good.

I love how the paint has kept its glory. I bet it has not seen a Canadian winter... A big challenge up here in the north.

other than the left bedside that was replaced with a new one in 2001 due to the truck taking a solo(no driver)trip down my ice covered driveway and into a tree ,,yes it is.
