Hello to all. I am new to the registry and have a truck that has been in the family since new, and has less than 100K miles. I read the TSBs and have several that apply to mine, the throttle spring, cracked exhaust hanger, and sagging left front. Is this something Dodge still takes care of after this long? Also, I tow a race car to road courses from Watkins Glen to Daytona, so I'm looking for a cruise control. Also, my truck is a three speed auto, and tops out at about 78mph. I can't even keep up with the other guys I tow with and end up holding everyone up. Was there an overdrive unit available that isn't so expensive, or a 4 speed o. d. retrofit? The truck vibrates so much that it has broken the down pipe twice. Also, the interior noise is pretty high. Anyway, the truck looks really good and has been maintained, I would just like to improve on a few things. Sorry if you are answering questions that have been asked many times, but I appreciate the advice!

Thanks,

Jim

As an option in 91 you could get an O. D. trans the A-518non-lockup that will pretty much bolt right in. You did not say whether or not it was a 4x4, if so then you will have to modify the driveshafts a little. I also understand the gear venders makes an O. D. for you truck. As for vibrations use cone lugnuts to center the rear wheels first before you put on the factory lugs. Also check all of your rims to make sure that the pin was lined up on both dual rims. If they were not lined up at some point then there will be a nice stamp mark in your wheel and will cause the rim not to be flush with the hub. They will vibrate horribly. This has happened to several people here. Hope that helps. Dan

Should be pretty easy to find. Mine has 141,000 on it and works perfectly in fact I just went 3,100 miles towing my jeep on a flatbed through Utah and Colorado. Not sure about TSB's a "nice" dealer should be able to look them up for you or there may be a web site that has them listed. Dan
