Hey fellas, just had to tell everyone that last night (this morning?) on the way home from work my truck turned 100K. Kinda cool seeing a sixth digit and all of those zeros.

mine just turned 200K a week ago. It was cool that I just happened to look down as all the zeros were there. . but 1 that is.

Are you running up miles slower than usual with thos 35s... is that the secret to your low milleage :)

Yes, slightly. :-laf My speedo is pretty close under 55, but gets further off the faster you go. Besides, the 35s have only been on for less than 10k of the trucks life. I bought it in Feb with low miles(see sig) and the po kept stock diameter tires on it. :D

I can't imagine driving a dodge with stock tires more than the time to get it home from the dealer/ seller. What a perfectly good wait of fender well openings and unecessary rpm's. Stock tires on a dodge look like temporary spares for an import!!

I wonder how many HOURS are on the truck. 100,000 since new seems like such a waste!! I put on that many miles in two years with my '93. My '96 is averaging 45,000 a year, 60,000 if I keep going the way I am recently.

When you actually get the truck broke in, post some pics, must either look like a cream puff or be a idling basket case of Freeway parking syndrome :-laf

Heck, I still have almost a year of driving at my current rate before I hit 100k miles. :D I bought it just over two years ago with 47k miles. :p I've been pretty lucky over the years and have usually found vehicles with under 100k miles on them when I bought 'em.

Up here the most of the cities or towns are usually a few hours between one another. It tends to be hard to find low mile diesels.

Besides, I don't even bother with the miles on the dashboard, I only worry about the miles I think it has left, which is why I own a cummins.

It is actually a low mile, low hour truck. The p. o. had it for 10 years and only put 50k on it. He used it as a spare vehicle/hunting-camping rig/what you use a truck for around the house truck. It is a pretty nice truck. I need to figure out how to get my pics small enough to post. When I do, you can be sure I will.

High miles

Hey Jay!! Does he qualify for the Oily Rag award yet or is that at 500k. I will get there (500) this year in about September. It is taking me a bit longer to get there since I drive three different trucks. Still, I understand the 'special' note of rolling over the zeros. Kinda neat.

JUST HAPPENED to look down?!?!? When I get within 5000 miles of turning over another 100k, I send out cards to my family, friends, local newspapers..... ;)

Am I the ONLY one that has taken a picture of the glorius event and posted it??
