There seemed to be a lot of confusion in the thread. I finally mustered sufficient intelligence to look in the owners manual. On page 150 it clearly says minimum recommended battery capacity 1025CCA.

I use a group 94. A group 31 will work too.

Back when I had my '92 W, I put an interstate group 31 truck battery. What I miss about that truck, was that it was truly fitted out like a big truck.

My '92 has a 31 in it.

Make sure it has dual terminals or the standard SAE lugs. Most 31's I've seen have 3/8" threaded studs.
