92 F350 project

Well the fun begins. The wife bid (EBAY) on 1992 F350 SRW Crew-cab with a blown head gasket on a 7. 3 NA Friday night and won.



Not sure if the motor is trashed but I think it deserves a 5. 9 Cummins so now I'm looking for a 95-98 12 valve that has a 5sp and transfer case with it.

Thanks - I did check it out and that is why I decided to do it myself. The $3800 saved on their labor should buy the Cummins 12v and they have the engine kit available with all the other mounting hardware.





BTW - The POS will be delivered 6/18 or 19 and I can start tearing into it.

I was just thinking of the kit to do it yourself this way you can say that you built the rig, not having them do it. The cost to have it done just isn't worth it.
