Hey fellas, just a note to inform you guys that the dowel pin does move out of its location on our trucks. It was out only 1\8" on my truck with 120,000 miles on it. Tapped back in real easy. I don't have a angle die grinder to open the area up where the tab has to go. Our housing is different than the 2nd gen housings as it has a step between the bolt and the dowel pin. I have a 96 motor setting in the corner and made the tabs for it, however will have to modify the housing. Oh yeah, the bolt was not tight at all, will use blue locktite on all bolts in there. This dowel is free to vibrate all the way out! By the way, this job is not difficult at all, but you must use a barring tool to lock engine to remove the damper bolts. Fan came right off with punch and hammer. Also the shroud slips right out. Probably would have been ok, but since it was in the shop doing the differential, thought I'd spend the 48. 00 for parts and take a peek. It raining here all the time so figured why wait till summer. Gotta see if I can borrow a die grinder, later. TIM
